Wow! What an amazing four days!  For those of you who were not aware, another leader training was just completed! Our leader trainings are not like before-they’re different just ask the participants at them!  Actually… I’m going to ask them to share why.  Then I’m going to encourage you to come to our next leader training even if you’ve been to one in the past!

Leader Training Participants:

I know you filled out the evaluation, have been debriefed, extremely tired from the weekend but why don’t you share with those who weren’t able to go some highlights you’ll never forget or don’t want to
forget from this weekend?

If you’ve been to a leader training in the past – more like over 1.5 years ago… why don’t you share why this one’s so different!

Can’t wait to read…

One response to “Training highlights…”

  1. WOW! That’s the first word out of my mouth! I keep thinking of Clint’s phrase, “Normal Christianity”… That’s what we saw, that’s what we experienced. The body working as the body is meant to. Freedom… worshiping in the very throne room of God, freedom to confess our sins to one another & be loved on, freedom to speak as God gives us words of encouragement, words of conviction, words to spur one another on to good works. Sabrina summed it up as we debriefed in the van on the way home, “I feel like I learned the ‘how-to’ on my mission trip to Peru last summer and this weekend was an exercise in what it’s supposed to look like”. God was obviously present in all we did. HE was in control; of the staff & of the schedule, He manifest Himself in & through the body as we threw off all hinderances in preparation for going out this summer to be used of HIM to accomplish what HE has planned in & through the groups we’ll be facilitating (I use this word because HE is the leader & HE will direct us as we are His instruments, His conduit of communication in helping the groups see the ‘how-to’ of ‘Normal Christianity’). We saw many burdens lifted, many hearts healed & then broken for Jesus! One thing I have learned from almost 11 years of leading projects ~ God wants to do a NEW thing in ME, in my groups, in the congregations we partner with, in the communities where we go, EVERY time we go; therefore, EVERY project looks different & every training looks different when we’re seeking God with all our heart, soul, mind & strength. I am grateful God allowed me to be a part of His body this weekend & I look forward to seeing what He does next! I feel totally prepared for my upcoming projects because my heart has been turned to HIM through this experience. Praise to our Lord & Christ for counting me worthy to be used by Him to bring His Kingdom to the earth as it is in Heaven!
